Isluga Volcano National Park is a Chilean national park located in the Tarapaca Region, located at an average altitude of 4,000 meters, covering 174,744 ha distributed in the districts of Colchane, Camina and Huara. Created in 1967, but the current limits were set in 1985.


In general the relief of the park is quite irregular. The highest peaks of the hills Quimsachata record of 5,400 m, 5,252 m and Tatajachura of Latarama of 5,207 meters. There is also considerable height Isluga volcano, which gives its name to the park of 5,550 meters, with snow-capped peaks and craters permanent fumarolic emissions.

Another attraction, and most importantly, Puchuldiza geothermal field, formed by geysers and hot springs where the water reaches up to 85 ° C. The fumaroles are seen mainly in the mornings in the highlands and in winter during the coldest months, the waters forming magnificent frozen ice blocks.
